More than 100 UC Irvine staff members rolled up their sleeves this past December to tackle a challenge: build an AI assistant from scratch using ZotGPT in just one week.
The result? A showcase of innovation that proved anyone, regardless of technical background, can harness AI to transform their work.
“We knew our campus community was creative and innovative, but what we saw this week exceeded all our expectations,” said Sarkis Daglian, Director of AI at UCI. “These AI assistants are solutions to real problems that will save time, reduce frustration, and allow our staff and faculty to focus on what matters most.”
