UC Tech is the annual extravaganza conference for the entire UC IT community. It’s fun, it’s informative, and it’s the time for you and your team to share your expertise and boast a bit about what you do.
How? Well, UC Tech 2020: Envisioning the Future of IT has opened its call for session presentation proposals. That means they want to hear from you. The deadline to submit proposals is March 20, 2020, at 5:00 pm. This year, the conference takes place at the beautiful UCLA Luskin Conference Center, August 17 – 19, 2020.
Proposals will be accepted from UC IT employees, including affiliated laboratories. Sponsors at the gold or platinum levels are invited to submit one session proposal each. Program tracks include:
- Advancing Research Frontiers with Data
- Digital Ethics and Privacy
- Empowering Women and Diversity in the IT Community
- Envisioning the Future of Healthcare Systems
- Focusing Technology on Teaching and Instruction
- Infrastructure Across the Spectrum
- Leveraging Digital Experience (XR) Technologies
- Professional Development for Technology Professionals
- Supporting the University of the Future
- Universal Design Thinking for Mobile, Web and Wearables
To propose a session, create an account and user profile, and then fill out the session proposal form. You may save your work in progress and edit it until the deadline. All proposal content will be locked after the deadline. For more information, visit the UC Tech 2020 website.
