NEWS: Creating a Smarter University: AI Transformations in Administration workshop

During a recent AI workshop for senior leaders, “Creating a Smarter University: AI Transformations in Administration” workshop,” hosted at UCLA from September 1 – October 30, 2024, participants shared multi-faceted views on how to capitalize on new tools that are changing the way we work. Click on the images, below, to see a summary of the discussions that took place over the course of this two-day workshop. The workshop included formal presentations and discussions, interactive workshops and a trade-show style fair. As a result of the two-day program, senior leaders have a shared understanding of the critical importance of looking at all opportunities with a rigorous strategic mindset that incorporates both sound business principals and technical considereations. They learned to apply the UC AI Principals, and, based on these five guiding questions that each leader should ask before implementing AI.
