Quick overview of the UC Tech Awards Program
The UC Tech Awards Program celebrates individuals and teams in the UC tech community who have contributed to areas of strategic importance to the university. The CIO Council created the program 23 years ago when an innovation award was named after Larry L. Sautter. The program has grown to seven awards ranging from design, IT security to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Learn more about the 2023 UC Tech Awards Program winners.
The UC CIO Council awards a gold and silver winner for each of the following award categories. Awards are provided to individuals or teams based on the complexity, impact, and mission alignment of their work.
