By Tom Andriola, Danna Gianforte and Molly Greek. Over the past few years, the University of California participation in EDUCAUSE has been growing. More UC people than ever are getting involved, from contributing to the EDUCAUSE Review, to serving on presentation review committees, to being presenters at the annual conference. This is fantastic. UC should have a big role in our national higher-ed IT association.
For those of you attending this year’s EDUCAUSE Annual Conference – let’s make sure that we take advantage of this opportunity to network and meet UC colleagues at a different location, or even from a different department. We encourage you to join UCTech Slack and then join the #educause channel so you can communicate, share insights, and meet up during the conference.
We also want to make sure every UC attendee knows you’re invited to a special UC IT dinner – just to celebrate our community and all the great work we do together. Please let us know if you plan to attend:
Date: Wednesday, October 16
Time: 6:30 – 9:30 pm
Location: Ditka’s Restaurant (no-host bar)
100 East Chesnut St., Chicago IL 60611
