By Alexa Rivetti, IT Communications Coordinator, UCOP. Thirty-five leaders from campuses and medical centers joined the UC IT Leadership Academy at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business to discuss some of the most important issues facing them today.
A common theme throughout the program was the importance of communication. No matter if you’re a senior manager or if you’re just starting your career, sharing ideas and understanding colleagues and customers is vital to day-to-day business. Improving one’s communication skills will help in everything from regular meetings to networking at conferences.
