The 2026 Cybersecurity Summit, held this year on October 6 & 7, will be virtual once again. This decision aligns with the University’s ongoing efforts to implement cost-saving measures. Virtual events allow us to host the Summit while enabling more colleagues from across the system to participate. We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity.

Our past virtual Summits have proven to be highly successful, and we are excited to, once again, present engaging speakers and timely topics.
Diverse perspectives and learning opportunities across two days
Full-day virtual events can be exhausting, and we get it. Last year we ran a poll and the response was overwhelming: split the event into two half-days! We will be doing this again for 2026:
- Tuesday, October 6 (9:00am-12:00pm)
- Wednesday, October 7 (9:00am-12:00pm)

Who can attend the Summit?
The Summit is for those at the University of California, California State University, California community colleges, and invited guests. If you aren’t a part of this community, your registration will require an exception approval. Email uccybersummit@ucop.edu for help.
