This year’s University of California Computing Services Conference (UCCSC) will be held at the beautiful UC San Diego. The conference will open Monday, August 7 with a welcome reception event at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps and close after dinner on Wednesday, August 9.
The theme is Working for the Greater Good, because UC IT staff work with the purpose of improving the world at large. Expect awesome talks and panels on how IT benefits the mission of the UC system by supporting students, faculty, and research.
Registration is now open, and will continue to be open thru July 17, 2017.
The cost is $265 per person and includes:
- Conference attendance, meals, and access to all scheduled events August 7 – 9. Including:
- Monday night reception with food and drinks at Birch Aquarium at Scripps with RSVP
- Access to sponsor demonstrations and giveaways
- Entry to keynote, Sautter Awards presentation, and all programming
If you have submitted a proposal, DO NOT register yet!
Whether or not your talk is accepted, a ticket space has been reserved for you if you have submitted a proposal. So even if the conference sells out and your proposal isn’t accepted, you’ll still have the chance to register for the conference.
How many people are we accepting? 500.
What about housing? On-campus and off-campus housing is available.
